Scotch & Soda gears up for a colourful season with its Spring/ Summer 2013 collection.
Spring/Summer 2013 Collection
While cherishing the classic pieces that establish the brand’s strong identity, this collection also offers all the out-there fashion pieces for the care-free guy. Think an explosion of colour, all-over prints, pops of neon and lots of tie- dye! Each piece is worked out the Scotch-way, meaning high quality materials, fine finishes and adding considered details that make each garment extra special. This season’s highlights include:
Black Ti(d)es
This is a dressed-up theme done the summer way; imagine a rock ‘n roll guy, taking a walk along the shore after a beach party, still wearing his linen suit but casually barefoot with his bow tie hanging loose. ‘Black Ti(d)es’ is all about blacks and ecru’s, mixed in with purple tones and pops of neon pink. Several items come with quirky 70s inspired hand drawn Op-Art illustrations.
Re-colured Army
‘Re-coloured Army’ is a military-inspired theme with a fresh twist, dominated by indigo coloured items that are bleached down and over-dyed in colourful summer shades. Colour pops of minty green, whites and neons keep it light and beachy. Pants come in all-over prints like batik and florals. Even chino’s are washed like denim, meaning beautiful white shading and whiskers. This is a rich look that’s all about special treatments and details like embroideries.
Souvenir de Tokyo
As a special one-off, Scotch presents a small collection of worked- out items in ecru’s and whites, with a special label to highlight them. All fabrics are knitted and woven on traditional slow-run machines in Japan.
